Thania Vernon has been a driving force in the South Florida residential real estate development market for the last 30 years. She has successfully marketed and sold millions of sq. ft. of newly constructed high-rise residential buildings, which have included both mixed-use and condo hotel components. As Vice President of Sales and Development with Fortune Christie's International Realty, she oversaw all aspects of the development process from inception, including setting up the sales centers, staffing the sales and leasing dept, and working with the marketing and public relations personnel all the way to Certificate of Occupancy and closing.
Ms. Vernon has worked on more than 30 different projects throughout her career including landmark towers such as Four Seasons Residences, The Carlye on Ocean Drive, The Edge in West Palm, The Grand Bay Residences on Key Biscayne, and the Mutiny's in Coconut Grove to name a few.
Additionally, she has worked in all facets of the real estate business having brokered Fortune South Beach Realty, which offered brokerage service for the South of Fifth market on South Beach. She has received many accolades throughout her career and has consistently been a top producer for the Company. Her partner in life and work Robert Vernon was born and raised on Key Biscayne and was Mayor from 2006-2010. Through his leadership, he oversaw the two largest capital improvement projects on the Island enhancing not only the quality of life for the Island but also the noted increase in property values that continue today.
Ms. Vernon is a graduate from the Warrington School of Business at the University of Florida with degrees in Marketing and Computer Science. She and Robert are both licensed Community Assocation Managers and she has a broker license in the State of North Carolina.
